Six mois \u00e0 un rythme fou. Depuis sa nomination comme ministre des Arm\u00e9es, en octobre 2025, Catherine Vautrin a fait ajouter beaucoup de tampons sur son passeport. Les pays du Golfe, la Gr\u00e8ce, l’Ukraine, la Pologne, le Japon, la Cor\u00e9e du Sud, la Su\u00e8de, Luxembourg… Et ce dans un contexte g\u00e9opolitique br\u00fblant. “Regardez comment on a commenc\u00e9 l’ann\u00e9e…”, retrace-t-elle en recevant L’Express \u00e0 l’h\u00f4tel de Brienne, avant d’\u00e9grener les nouvelles crises \u00e0 g\u00e9rer en 2026 : Venezuela, Groenland, d\u00e9sormais l’Iran et la gestion du d\u00e9troit d’Ormuz. <\/p>\n

La ministre a accept\u00e9 d’\u00e9voquer un autre dossier br\u00fblant : la d\u00e9pendance des arm\u00e9es europ\u00e9ennes au grand fr\u00e8re am\u00e9ricain. Les pr\u00e9tentions de Donald Trump sur le Groenland ont mis en lumi\u00e8re la mainmise des Etats-Unis sur l’armement des Europ\u00e9ens… au point qu’il serait quasi-impossible de combattre sans leur aval. Durant une heure, Catherine Vautrin d\u00e9fend les choix fran\u00e7ais, assume le r\u00f4le de chef de file que devra jouer Paris en Ukraine, en cas de retrait de Washington. “La r\u00e9ponse est oui”, r\u00e9agit-elle lorsqu’on lui demande si l’Europe peut \u00eatre pr\u00eate, \u00e0 tout moment, \u00e0 suppl\u00e9er un d\u00e9faut am\u00e9ricain aupr\u00e8s de Kiev. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
